I think Josh studies the matches that are going to be on AXS before he calls them. Not to mention there's a huge difference from calling a match live as opposed to doing it from a studio.

Yeah he sold that knee perfectly. Also I liked Tama v Elgin match. I didn't expect it to be that good.

Meltzer reported Sami Callihan is also on his way, and I would take large Jeffery over him any day of the week

I mean I don't hate Callahan like some people do. But I'm not exactly thrilled about it

In a NJPW setting, I guess Cobb makes more sense than Sami. But in general I like Sami more than Cobb.

I love Cobb. He is a fuckin beast and i bet his style translates NJPW very well. I'm expecting him to get over real quick!

One thing I will say about Cobb is him being in new Japan will probably actually make him a good worker. As opposed to now where I think he's a guy who does a couple cool moves and that's it

I like Cobb just fine, I think he's real fun in hoss matches so I'm excited

Sami is weird for me because I can't stand watching him on tape, he just never interests me but I saw him live 4 times over Mania weekend and he was awesome every single time, but since I'm not in Japan I'm not excited for him at all, hopefully it's just for the Jr tag tourney and we don't see him there again

Sami Callihan is better off at Big Japan Pro Wrestling or DDT.

Shocked it's happening on a New Japan show and not the cruise. That's pretty big time.

Jericho's first match outside WWE in almost 20 years and it's against Omega. Holy shit. If that doesn't shine a light on what a big deal Omega is, I don't know what to tell people. When Jericho wants to work with you so bad that he'll work outside WWE for it? Hot damn.

I feel like Jericho will bring everything he's got too, which makes this even better. Pretty stoked.

From a match quality standpoint I think it's a pretty significant drop off to go from Omega/Ibushi to Omega/Jericho, but it's still really cool and I'm looking forward to it

Hopefully this helps get some new eyes on the product and hopefully everyone who watches sticks around for the whole show and NJPW gets some north american exposure

On the surface this looks like an easy Omega win but part of me wonders if Jericho wins here and they do the rematch in LA in March

the other casualty of this Ibushi now has to wrestle(and probably lose to) Cody R at the dome Sad

With New eyes on the product for NJPW and Jericho probably wanting to do this to help prompt his wrestling cruise event, I’m sure both Omega and Jericho will put on the best show they can.

I’m sure WWE can’t be happy about this.

I will say this about Cody/Ibushi I find it hilarious that nobody involved gives a fuck about spoiling the ROH title match at Final Battle to set up this WK match
