The Diva battle royal makes sense since Total Divas is a thing that is kind of popular (even among people who have never watched wrestling before) so they want them all to get on WM. Hopefully this one wont involve Kid Rock.

The 6 man tag makes sense from a continuity standpoint (the outlaws and kane are the hired goons in The Shield's way). Wyatt vs. Cena is probably the best program Cena has been in since The Rock or Punk.

Really the only one that is truly thrown together or forced is the Memorial Battle Royal. But even that has potential to be a little fun.

The six man makes narrative sense... kinda, but it seems to me a way to get the New Age Outlaws in mania more than anything else. The Shield can and will have a great match (I assume), but they could be put in a better position. You got three of the hottest guys in the company and they are put in a six man tag as part of a program that started like three weeks before Mania? That seems thrown together to me. Also, this is another missed opportunity to have the U.S. title on the line.

As for the diva's match... blah. I don't buy that as an excuse to put that belt in what will most likely be a complete clusterfuck. If they wanted to build off the total Diva's thing, why not build one of them up for a title shot a month or so in advance and actually BUILD a narrative around that belt? Or why not do Lee vs Snuka and then have the some of the girls from the total diva's women go in some sort of tag team match? It is a long show. They could give them 10 minutes somewhere if they really needed. As it is now, this is a waste to me.

I like the build of Cena/Wyatt.

Taker v Lesnar could be awesome, but it has been built terribly. So far they haven't established Lesnar as a threat to Taker, except that he is Lesnar. Basically they have Taker scaring and beating Lesnar. THey could at least pretend the streak is in jeopardy.

I want to see Triple H win the title because I like to watch the world burn.

I legit want to see the fan reaction.

But, SURELY DANIEL BRYAN WILL WIN (feel like we've said this before).

The build for Taker vs. Lesnar sums up how much WWE has misused Brock since he's returned to WWE. Brock should have been used as the ultimate badass, like in the buildup to his return match with Cena. However, since that match, where he inexplicably lost, he's been portrayed mostly as a typical chickenshit heel. It's no wonder his PPV numbers have dropped.

The Shield's match is pretty disappointing. What's worse is that this will likely be where Ambrose & Rollins turn on Reigns. If they're going to turn The Shield face, they might as well run with their face momentum for a while.

The undercard buildup has been weak. The recently announced Fatal 4-Way for the Tag Team Titles could have been better built and also have better participants. The Real Americans make sense as challengers, but Rybaxel and Los Matadores just seem to be randomly inserted. The Rhodes brothers should be in this match instead of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

The Divas Invitational will be a clusterfuck. It's not a battle royal, it's a 14-Diva one fall match, meaning all 14 women will be in the match at once until there's a finish.

The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal has been built up very well in recent weeks. With only 4 spots remaining, there will likely be a surprise return or NXT promotion to fill out the field. I hope that it isn't relegated to the pre-show though.

On SmackDown a week or two ago Kane named The Real Ameicans and Rybaxel the #1 contenders for the tag titles. IDK where the hell Los Matadores came from.

Also on the battle royal, I really hope its not on the preshow. WM is four hours and there is going to be a two hour preshow. Just add more matches.

See the tag title match just announce to support my claim. Why?

There is so much time to get stuff in. Are the going to change the main event to an Iron Man match or something?

I know how the Tag Title match came about, it's just that this was a lame way to put it together.

Cody Rhodes & Goldust should have been involved in this match instead since they have two recent wins over The Real Americans, and they rejuvenated the tag team division with their matches with The Shield late last year. The Usos helping them out on SmackDown a couple weeks ago after they beat The Real Americans made it seem like they would be in the tag title scene, but they just ended up in the battle royal and have been feuding with Fandango lately.

I suppose Los Matadores' reasoning will be that they are included since they beat Rybaxel on Raw this Monday, but they are just an odd fit in this match period.

As for the pre-show, the first hour will actually be a pre-show for the pre-show that streams on YouTube and other online outlets. That's in order to drive up late subscribers for the WWE Network. The second hour will be the true WrestleMania pre-show with a match included.

Rumors have circulated that an NXT match could be included on WrestleMania this year. It would be a much better fit for the pre-show given that NXT is a staple of the Network.

I thought tonight was a home run for WWE. The Network held up. The show was overall pretty great, probably the best mania in years. And they finally pulled the trigger with Bryan.

The only thing that maybe didn't work was Taker's match. It was terrible and they almost killed the crowd. But as for Brock winning? Taker looked shot, so i was fine with taker being done. Should someone else have ended it? Probably, but i'm not sure Brock was supposed to be the guy, i think WWE/Taker decided this was his last match, so they put brock over.

Loved the show. Start to finish. Best Mania in recent memory IMO.

great show, when the Taker match is the second worst thing on the card, you did something right

The only real bummer to me about the Taker thing is the match sucked. I'm sure it was his call to end the streak for whatever reason he did, but to have him lose it in a stinker really sucks

The Divas match was awful but everything else was great

Legit lost my shit over the Cesar/Big Show spot, simply amazing

So I guess I am not the only one who realized Taker didn't seem like himself when he was wrestling tonight. He seemed like he didn't care he just wanted it done with atleast thats my IMO. Glad about everything else minus the Wyatt match of course

If you told me three years ago that Husky Harris would be in the middle of the Superdome singing "He's Got The Whole World In His Hands" to John Cena at Wrestlemania and it would be awesome, I might have called you a liar.

If the Lesnar/Taker match was even a little bit good this would have been the best Mania of all time. But it was fucking terrible and its now only second best.

And yes it really seemed like the Undertaker gave zero fucks. You'd have to think this is it for him.

    Also #IndyBellas 4eva.

Prowrestling.net can confirm reports that Undertaker (Mark Calaway) was taken by ambulance to a hospital in New Orleans after his WrestleMania 30 match with Brock Lesnar on Sunday. It is believed that he suffered a concussion during the match.

Powell's POV: Everything about what may have been Taker's final match feels like a downer, particularly this news. If this was the last ride, here's hoping he comes away healthy and happy with the way the match played out.

Is it more or less unanimous that the Taker match sucked, regardless of the finish? It is hard to tell live sometimes. I thought it was slow in the middle (maybe because taker was concussed), but I actually thought the last half was pretty good and the end was sort of amazing, just in terms of athleticism and performance. Again, it is tough to tell live.

I haven't seen anything positive about the match, I'm sure there are some people who thought it was fine/good/etc but those people are certainly in the minority

Looking at it from a match perspective, Taker needed to work a smaller guy who could bump around and make him look good, it felt like Brock was trying not to hurt him because he didn't seem as crazy and physical as he normally is, but that's what makes Brock matches work so there was just nothing working in this one

and I disagree that Taker didn't care, I think he worked hard, they just told the wrong story with the wrong guy and Taker was just really old

Also if Taker had won I think more people would have had a positive reaction, I think you'd be seeing a lot more "it wasn't that bad" type of comments, but with the match and the finish, people are going to be shitting on it

If you were in the chat last night, you wouldn't think that was the case as once everyone got over the initial "WTF" moment, most of us felt like Undertaker losing  added a lot to the match.

After reading a lot of comments online though, there's a ton of people out there still pissed off over the outcome.

I told a guy at the bar last night, this is yet another case where taker stole the show, one way or another. I will have to watch it back on TV, but I thought what the match lacked in the middle, it picked up in the last half. Brock has a real problem working with big guys I think, but even beyond that I thought it was a good match.

Either way, I actually think Paul was the MVP of the match. His facial expressions were off the charts and his response to the finish was amazing.

I really think the concussion played a big part in how the match went and there really wouldnt have been much difference if he was in there against some one small say like Bryan and still got concussed early on.

The concussion kind of plays into what I was saying in the chat last night.

I don't think when they booked this match the plan was for Brock to end the streak. But I think at some point this week end (maybe even in the ring, you could clearly see Taker talking to Brock when taker was against the ropes early) WWE/Taker decided this was his last match, and they should put Brock over.

    - There were rumors among the talent backstage at WrestleMania XXX that The Undertaker was supposed to kick out or that the finish to his match with Brock Lesnar was botched but as we've noted, that's not the case. The finish was planned but was kept from people even very high up in WWE's marketing and production departments. WWE officials were very afraid of the finish leaking and it's said only a small circle of 4-6 people were aware.

Vince McMahon actually missed the WrestleMania main event and Daniel Bryan's big win because he left his post to ride with Taker to the hospital in the back of the ambulance. Vince left it up to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon to run the rest of the show, all while playing a role in the main event as well.

    Source: PWInsider

    http://www.wwe.com/shows/wrestlemania/30/the-undertaker-suffers-injury-26222677

WWE.com can confirm that, following last's night historic match with Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker was immediately taken to Ochsner Medical Center. After a CT scan and other medical testing, he was diagnosed with a severe concussion and was kept overnight for further evaluation. He was discharged early Monday afternoon.

Stay with WWE.com for updates on The Phenom's condition.

The weak buildup had a lot to do with the disappointing quality of the match. Sure, the in-ring action was quite weak for the most part, as Taker and Brock didn't have the same chemistry they did 10 years ago.

But nobody really bought into Lesnar's nearfalls because Taker winning was believed to be a lock. Brock was never really treated as a true threat to The Streak, and as such, it was a massive shock when he got the clean pinfall.

While it is debatable over whether or not this was the way to end it, the fact is that The Streak had to end eventually. Taker may not even be physically capable of making it to another WrestleMania, so to end it on the 30th WM event in one of the most shocking moments in wrestling history is quite a way to go out.

The rest of the show was very strong, and made for an excellent event.

HHH vs. Bryan was actually one of the strongest matches on the show, possibly the best of the night. HHH implemented a lot of moves that we haven't seen him perform very often, if at all. Even though Bryan winning was believed to be a forgone conclusion, there was still some moments where it felt like HHH would actually win. Stephanie McMahon played an excellent part in this match as well.

The Shield squashing Kane & the Outlaws was fun and exactly what that match needed to be.

Cesaro winnning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal was a very pleasant surprise. That spot with him slamming Big Show will be in WM highlight reels for years to come. I didn't even notice him in the ring until about midway through the match. Nice to see some of the previously missing undercard performers sneak their way in; the total participants actually ended up being 31 instead of the advertised 30.

Wyatt vs. Cena started off quite weak, but really picked up over time. Wyatt's counter to the initial 5 Knuckle Shuffle attempt was classic. The ending just felt wrong though, as Wyatt beating Cena at WM would have been a far bigger moment for his career than getting a win over him at some other show, which will likely happen.

The Divas didn't stand a chance going on after the end of The Streak. At least they tried.

The Triple Threat was excellent. Everybody played their role to perfection, and it went the way that this angle should have been booked all along. That Batista Bomb/RKO combo on the announce table was insane. If Orton & Batista do end up reforming Evolution, they need to do that more often.
